Beef Tips & Mushrooms

This is a super yummy freeze ahead crock pot meal. I got this from a freeze ahead web page.  I can't remember the name, when I find it I will add it to my post.   My only tip is when it is ready to serve, make a rue with flour and water and stir it in well with the meal to thicken up the juices to help make a gravy.  It was soooo yummy served over egg noodles.


Beef Tips & Mushrooms  (17pts ww)

3 lbs stew meat, cubed
1 (10.75 oz) can cream of mushroom soup

2 (4 oz) cans mushrooms, with liquid
½ cup apple juice
1 (1oz) packet dry onion soup mix.


Combine all ingredients in a re-sealable gallon sized freezer bag.  Zip closed.

When ready to eat, remove from freezer and thaw in fridge for 24 hours.  Cook on High for 6 hours or Low for 8 to 10 hours.
